Joyce Hansen, M.P.C., LPC-S

Joyce Hansen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges, transitions, and complex seasons. She brings a calm, compassionate, and authentic presence to therapy, creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.

Grounded in empathy and advocacy, Joyce helps clients navigate relationships, family dynamics, emotional challenges, and major life transitions with greater clarity and confidence. Her approach emphasizes meaningful communication, healthy connection, and sustainable growth while honoring each client’s unique experiences and strengths.

Joyce has a particular passion for supporting women through the perinatal and postpartum journey. She understands that pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into parenthood can bring profound emotional, relational, and identity changes. She provides a compassionate, judgment-free space for women navigating postpartum anxiety and depression, overwhelming emotions, changes in identity, motherhood transitions, birth experiences, and the challenges of balancing their own needs with those of their families.

With extensive training and experience in trauma-informed care, Joyce approaches every client’s story with curiosity, respect, and compassion. She believes healing is a collaborative process—not something you have to navigate alone. Joyce walks alongside her clients as they work to understand their experiences, rebuild trust, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with who they are.
